Deal Registration

Deal Registration is a new feature of the C12G Partner Program in which VAR and SI partners can register new deals to guarantee some early support from C12G during sales and procurement cycles and can become eligible for an additional discount off list price. Partners can benefit from this opportunity when they have to invest time to prepare a response for any competitive form of tender or procurement for Public Sector and Commercial customers.

Partner Program

The C12G Partner Program is a comprehensive set of programs through which partners can build, promote, and sell their offerings in conjunction with C12G Labs. C12G Labs is not creating products to address vertical markets. C12G Labs is a technology-driven company, achieving partnerships with strategic partners to create and promote products, services and solutions addressing market niches. The objectives of C12G’s Partner Program are to align developments and technologies to meet customer’s needs and to support the design and development of joint cloud solutions, products or services.

Types and Levels of Partnership

The program includes two types of partners:

  • Channel Partners are authorized to sell solutions, products and services that utilize C12G products.
  • Technology Partners provide a technology, product or service that complements OpenNebula and are authorized to advertise their compatibility.

C12G Labs offers three membership levels for partner programs:

  • Affiliate Partner is the entry level of this program and allows partners to build OpenNebula services and solutions with a basic level of support. Generally Affiliate Partners are smaller businesses, but this level of partnership can also be an ideal starting point for larger organizations.
  • Advanced Partner is the mid-level of this program with a basic level of support and additional benefits that addresses the needs of most of our partners needing to deliver products, solutions and expertise in OpenNebula.
  • Premier Partner is the top level of this program and is tailored for expert companies requiring the fastest response time and wanting to develop a strategic relationship with C12G.

Channel Partner Programs

Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)

OEMs increase value to their software offerings by embedding OpenNebula as Cloud engine within their products with vertical or horizontal focus, which they distribute under their own license and brand, through their partner channels.

Value Added Resellers (VARs)

VARs create solutions around OpenNebula, usually bundled or integrated with other open-source components, and provide direct customer support for it. They redistribute the software under the C12G commercial open-source license to end customers as part of their solution. The partner adds value by providing a solution customized to solve a well-defined business problem, usually in vertical-specific domains.

Consultants and Systems Integrators (SIs)

Consultants and systems integrators provide customers with consulting, integration and implementation services associated with OpenNebula software. SIs understand that data centers have unique architectural constraints, and have expertise in custom design and building of IaaS clouds on different storage, virtualization and network solutions. SIs can be large consulting companies as well as smaller, specialized firms with market or geographic focus

Technology Partner Programs

Independent Software Vendors (ISVs)

Service and application vendors that have verified their vertical industry and horizontal business focused tools and services to interoperate with OpenNebula software. They expand the market for both the ISV and C12G, but do not distribute OpenNebula software with their solutions, so the license is not embedded in the application, nor offer value-added services.

Platform Infrastructure Provider (PIPs)

PIPs provide the hardware platforms, devices, and/or operating systems that OpenNebula software runs on. They do not redistribute the software, but benefit from the certification of OpenNebula upon their platforms. C12G’s certification service helps manufacturers to advertise their compatibility with the Enterprise and Community editions of OpenNebula.
